August butterflies

August is one of my favourite months and I am so happy to be doing a challenge on butterflies (one of my favourite things to craft with ) , but before I talk any more about this I would firstly like to thank everyone that entered this month . Challenge 68 Holidays/Travel

Oh wow how time flies can you believe its a fortnight since i did my DT project for LEJ Designs Well Lindsay has some fab new images and i was fortunate enough to get one first . It is fantastic and just perfect for the card i made .  So please pop over and join in the fun at LEJ's challenge . Any way here is what i did first  I drew out a pair of shoe feet 

 Then i used my crimpers on them

 I then downloaded the fab digi and used paint on my comp to colour it 

       I made lots of layers  and added some straps to my flip flops / sandals and wala here is the card i have made . Thank you for popping in to see my make hugs Seema x

Mad crafty Giggles entry and exciting news

Hi everyone thanks for stopping by first of all i want to share my happy news , I am on the admin in Mad Crafters Giggles group over on face book . So you will be seeing a lot more of me over there .It is a really fun group with lots going on . I have also entered into there tic tac toe and here is what i have made .

it is a memory scrapbook and i first of all covered all the pages in paper from my paper stash.

and after using my book binder i decorated the front with flowers ,lace , and charms

i then took some white A4 card stock folded it in halve and then cut it in halve 

i used my corner punch on two corners 

i then ran it through my big shot to make the lines and then glued them to the insides of my book

challenge 66 - Furry Friends

Hi everyone well this was definitely a challenge for me . I got into a pickle with this and everything that could go wrong went wrong , and I was afraid I lost my crafting mojo lol . But I persevered and it all came out fairly good in the end. Any way I picked up this wooden hanging  mobile from a car boot sale and it was in pink , so I decided to make it blue . It kind of looked wishy washy in pink . So the first thing I did was to Gesso it then painted it in light blue then I used my ink to stress all the edges and then went over them highlighting in silver. Next i printed of one of the fabulous LEJ Designs onto paper towel . and then cut it out and modge poged it to the balloon drilled the wholes bigger so i could add blue ribbon , and wala here is the finished project

 Well that was the version of events after I had to sand it all back down lol

The friendly crafters

Hi everyone just a little news about The face book group The friendly crafters we have a few new things going on . Sundays is a swap day so you can pop over and swap your unwanted crafts for something you would use . Then we also have some fabulous competitions once a month and best of all we are now doing a blog day . So now you can pop over on a Tuesday and blog all your favourite blogs that you have . Our main aim is to help all crafters , so if you have any hiccups with your crafting then we have a fabulous team standing by to help you. So why not pop over and say hi . We hope to see you there.

Just For Fun challenge exciting news

wooohoo!!!!!

This is my first project design for Just For Fun and I am so excited to part of the team and part of this exciting new challenge blog . The challenge for this month is ANYTHING GOES. So before you pop over there with your lovely entries here is my contribution to hopefully give you some inspiration.

 

Ingredient for this card were :

A4 card stock in pink folded 

A5 card stock in white 

A5 paper in white 

A small amount of white and pink card stock for the stamp image and sentiment 

Martha stewart punch corner and border Some pink ribbon 

Copic markers and ink pads

Method for this card were :

Fold the A4 card in half  punch around the edge and corners .

Emboss and punch out two corners of the A5 white card stock and after you have trimmed up to fit .

add A4 paper in the center of card with edges  and corners punched out 

Stamp any image you like and colour in with copic markers add a bow 

Add a sentiment and walah! 

your card is ready.
