I have made a a doll house wardrobe and my ingredients were as follows:

1 match box
acrylic paint
4 head pins
1 match stick
2  round beads
2 square beads
inca gold
scrap of paper
quick dry scotch glue
The method i used was to cut the matchbox lid down the middle
Mix red and white acrylic paint to get pink and painted the whole thing
I glued the back to the base, added the square beads to the bottom and attached the round beads to the door using two of the pin heads then secured them by using scrap paper card to the back of the doors.
I then distressed the whole thing using inca gold and made two hangers out of the other two pins . I hot glued the matchstick inside and tah dah one miniature wardrobe.

I had fun making this and hope you will join in too . Here are some pictures that my design team have come up with to inspire you some more .

LEJ Designs Challenge No 54 - Die Cuts and /or Punches

Well it is time for another design and this month was to use Die cuts and / or punches so this is my effort.
The first thing that i did was to download and print the lovely LEJ image called Horseshoe and birds digi . i then coloured the horse shoe with a gold pen and then the birds and ribbon with my promarkers

I used die cuts from my big shot and cut around the digi then used the same die to cut out from gold card and placed one over the other . I then used another die for the sign and put a piece of gold chain to connect the sign to the post .
I finished it off by adding a die cut edge in the side of the card and there you have a lovely card for any wedding or anniversary . I hope you like it , and you are inspired to go over to LEJ Designs and enter this weeks challenge. http://lejdesignschallengeblog.blogspot.co.uk/2013/05/lej-designs-challenge-no-54-die-cuts.html

Challenge 52 Theme - Summers Coming for LEJ Designs

Well its that time of year when everyone is happy, spring has joined us and summer is well on the way . I have created a design For LEJ Designs using the digi rose 1 to celebrate and for the competiton this month . I hope it will inspire you to join in the fun over at LEJ Designs Challenge Blog and I also hope that you will see how wonderful the digi's are and how great they are for altered art projects.

as you can see i coulered the digi design in blue copic markers and outlined in a gold permanent marker I also coloured the leaves in the same gold pen. I then added the digi's to the front of my bird box and wrapped them around the sides

Once I had them securely fixed i modge pogged then over then  I used inka gold and edged the box in it. I then added all the lace trimmings and popped on some flowers . I also used cosmic shimmer mist on some of the flowers which look absolutely stunning . Although i definitely will be wearing gloves next time,
and when everything was attached i put some rattan in the top so that it could be hung up.
So this is my design I hope you will leave a comment thank you for stopping by . I would like to enter this into the following challenges.
