LEJ Designs LAYERS

Oh my how time fly's . I was so ill the last fortnight that I was unable to do a project for LEJ Designs :( , But I am so happy to be well enough to do this one . The theme for this one is layers so here is my project .............................

Well here is what i did ......

I firstly cut out all the layers on my cricut 

Then used this beautiful design from Lej Designs that you can purchase here http://www.lejdesigns.co.uk/She has some fantastic Digis . I cut a heart shape around the design after using my copics to colour her in.

Just For Fun DT autumn colours project

As a DT member of Just For Fun I made this card to represent Septembers Autumn colours challenge . ********and the prize is fantastic an generously donated by one of the DT marie .******

  So how did I do this ? Well firstly i took a card measuring 12 x 5.5 and scored it at 3.5 and 6.5 . I then added some lovely Autumn coloured layers from my stash and used my big shot to cut a die lace circle out . added layers to the lace circle and then made a layered tag . I then layered a sentiment and popped it up with pads and there you have it. thank you for popping in and haveing a lookie . I hope it inspires you to have a go and enter this months competition . August butterflies

August is one of my favourite months and I am so happy to be doing a challenge on butterflies (one of my favourite things to craft with ) , but before I talk any more about this I would firstly like to thank everyone that entered this month . I am so amazed at how many wonderful entries there were for last months challenge. Anyway the winner has been chosen and it is number 3 Jennifer Scull

My design team have come up trumps again . They have all used some of the butterflies that I sell on my web shop www.seemacrafts.com and here is what they have all created. Challenge 68 Holidays/Travel

Oh wow how time flies can you believe its a fortnight since i did my DT project for LEJ Designs Well Lindsay has some fab new images and i was fortunate enough to get one first . It is fantastic and just perfect for the card i made .  So please pop over and join in the fun at LEJ's challenge . Any way here is what i did first  I drew out a pair of shoe feet 

 Then i used my crimpers on them

 I then downloaded the fab digi and used paint on my comp to colour it 

       I made lots of layers  and added some straps to my flip flops / sandals and wala here is the card i have made . Thank you for popping in to see my make hugs Seema x

Mad crafty Giggles entry and exciting news

Hi everyone thanks for stopping by first of all i want to share my happy news , I am on the admin in Mad Crafters Giggles group over on face book . So you will be seeing a lot more of me over there .It is a really fun group with lots going on . I have also entered into there tic tac toe and here is what i have made .

it is a memory scrapbook and i first of all covered all the pages in paper from my paper stash.

and after using my book binder i decorated the front with flowers ,lace , and charms

i then took some white A4 card stock folded it in halve and then cut it in halve 

i used my corner punch on two corners 

i then ran it through my big shot to make the lines and then glued them to the insides of my book

challenge 66 - Furry Friends

Hi everyone well this was definitely a challenge for me . I got into a pickle with this and everything that could go wrong went wrong , and I was afraid I lost my crafting mojo lol . But I persevered and it all came out fairly good in the end. Any way I picked up this wooden hanging  mobile from a car boot sale and it was in pink , so I decided to make it blue . It kind of looked wishy washy in pink . So the first thing I did was to Gesso it then painted it in light blue then I used my ink to stress all the edges and then went over them highlighting in silver. Next i printed of one of the fabulous LEJ Designs onto paper towel . and then cut it out and modge poged it to the balloon drilled the wholes bigger so i could add blue ribbon , and wala here is the finished project

 Well that was the version of events after I had to sand it all back down lol
